About Counselling and Psychotherapy

Counselling and Psychotherapy reflect the same process of talking therapies with psychotherapy often being longer-term, can be more in-depth than counselling and more likely to be open ended.

With psychotherapy we can explore problems that have been ongoing for longer or are deeper rooted. It may be that you come for some initial counselling and continue on for psychotherapy. The therapeutic relationship we build together will look at different areas of your life, working with whatever comes up for you inside and outside of our sessions together.

I will be there to listen and help you process the information, feelings and emotions that arise from this. These could be from any area of your life including childhood, school, work, relationships  or sudden trauma, by talking these through, you can work on regaining your sense of direction and clarity for the future, allowing you to move forward with your life and relationships with others.
